For the Boys

Yes, it has been a while since I posted anything.  I have been having a break from the Christmas cards and I forgot to create a post for the last Creatlicious challenge (oops!).

Apart from all that, it is time for another challenge at Creatalicious Challenges.  This month it is all about boys and the sponsor is Stamp Fairy.  They kindly supplied us with this gorgeous image entitle Lenny Camping.  I have created a scene with "Big Tree" from Make it Crafty.  He is a little small, but I like the overall result.

Summer Time!

Well, summer time for those in the northern hemisphere.  I am having to remember the warmth here midst the rain and gloom.  One week and we start heading back towards the light!  Yay! Half way to Christmas too!

Jingle Bells - Half-way

Jingle Bells is the theme for this fortnight over at ABC Christmas Challenges and we are half way already!  I have interpreted this challenge as including a bell.  This is what I have come up with.  

It is a Pollycraft image from the Swings 'n Slides collection called "Ring out those Bells".  Unfortunately the shop closed down and this image is no longer available, but some of the other Swings 'n Slides images can be found over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

For the Girls

Hello once again!  I know it has been a while since I last posted a card, but I do have a legitimate excuse.  I got a job!  Yes, after 7 years at home looking after my girls, I have returned to the work force.  It's one of the best things I could have done, but getting used to juggling a family and work has been fun and games.  I have been stuffed when I get home, which is when I usually sit and colour.

Regardless of all that, it is a new challenge time again at Creatalicious Challenges and this month we are celebrating all things female.  I have made a mother's day card, this one was for my Mother-in-Law, using a Papershelter image called The Florist.   I hope you like it.

H is for Holiday Helpers at ABC Christmas Challenges

We are up to the letter H now at ABC Christmas Challenges.  We are looking for "Holiday Helper" inspired projects.  This is a card I made last Christmas, but never posted.  It uses Christmas Elf Marci from La La Land Stamps - a favourite line of stamps in this household.  My girls would rather colour these in than use a colouring book!
